Create your Chief account at hirechief.ai. Click Get Started in the top right.
Use a Google Workspace Email
Chief uses Slack SSO for the dashboard, but the signup flow is keyed off your work email. Use the address that matches the Slack workspace you’re going to install Chief into.

If your Slack workspace uses a different email domain than your Google Workspace, sign in to Slack first, then come back and use the same email.
What Happens Next
- You’ll be asked to confirm your email with a 6-digit code.
- You’ll set a tenant name (this is the workspace label inside Chief — usually your company name).
- You’ll land on the dashboard onboarding wizard.
The wizard walks you through:
- Adding your Anthropic API key (next page)
- Installing Chief in Slack
- Setting your timezone and working hours
- Picking your plan and starting the 14-day trial
Tenant vs Workspace
Inside Chief, your tenant is the company-level container. One tenant maps to one Slack workspace. All your data — credentials, threads, usage records, settings — is scoped to your tenant.
If your company has multiple Slack workspaces (e.g., separate workspaces for engineering and operations), you’ll need a separate Chief tenant for each. Contact sales@hirechief.ai if you need cross-workspace billing — it’s available on Enterprise.
Already Have an Account?
If a teammate already created a tenant for your company, ask them to invite you from Dashboard → Settings → Team. You’ll get an email with a join link. Chief is multi-user per tenant — there’s no per-seat fee on Pro or Enterprise.
