Settings
Tenant-wide configuration. Most teams set these once at install and rarely revisit.
General
| Setting | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Tenant name | Your company | Shown in Slack and dashboard headers |
| Default timezone | Pulled from Slack workspace | Used for cron scheduling when ambiguous |
| Working hours | 9am–5pm tenant TZ | Some crons honor this (e.g., “during business hours”) |
| Default channels | None | Where Chief posts when no channel is specified |
Team
Manage who has access:
- Invite — Send a Slack DM invite to a teammate.
- Role — Promote member → admin or vice versa.
- Remove — Revoke access (Slack DM/channel access continues; only dashboard access is removed).
Workspace owners always have admin role and can’t be demoted.
Limits
Soft caps to prevent runaway cost or activity:
- Max monthly tokens — pauses non-essential work above this (default: unlimited)
- Max cost per task — kills any single task that would exceed (default: $5)
- Max concurrent multi-agent workers — Enterprise only (default: 10)
- Approval threshold for sensitive actions — see Integrations
Model Routing (Enterprise)
By default, Chief uses Claude Sonnet for complex tasks and Claude Haiku for simple ones. Enterprise tenants can override:
- Pin a single model for everything
- Route by task type (e.g., code review → GPT-4, summaries → Sonnet)
- Route by cost threshold (cheapest model that can handle the request)
Branding
Upload your brand assets so generated documents and apps match your visual identity:
- Logo (SVG preferred)
- Primary color
- Font preferences
- PDF letterhead template (optional)
Once registered, every Chief-produced PDF, DOCX, or App Factory deployment uses these.
Slack App Settings
- Channels Chief is in — list and
/leavefrom any - Default reaction emoji — change the 👀/⚙️/✅ defaults
- Reply visibility — public reply by default, or always thread
Danger Zone
- Reset Chief’s memory — wipes all learned skills/preferences (not your data)
- Delete tenant — full destruction of all data after 30-day grace
